Siczine is an online zine for hardcore music bands. This site serves information about bands, upcoming local events, interviews with bands, photos, user submitted content, and more. I was hired to design and build this site in 2002, and at the time, had no experience with MySQL or PHP so the entire site was made up of static pages. The site required tons of maintenance and though it looked nice, was a major pain to keep fresh.
