Project Description
I worked with a creative director on this project to produce an entire custom e-commerce solution. My role was to build everything based on a set of mockups. I ended up producing mockups for many additional pages as well. In the end, this site consisted of:
- A shopping cart front end with custom or prepackaged recurring order items
- international shipping address validation
- integration with 3 shipping company APIs
- logic to recommend the best shipping service based on total order weight and distance to destination
- user accounts with recurring order management
- administrative accounts with order management, product management, promo code management, legal form editing, and client and order search
- Support for multiple customer types (ex: resale, consumer, bulk, etc.) and corresponding rate variances
The e-commerce portion of this site has since been migrated to a different platform.
