Two things:
1) the bling tutorial listed under GiMP text effects is actually a Photoshop tutorial (although I’m sure it would be pretty easy to adapt to the GiMP).
2) I also have a couple of other tutorials that might be of interest: a photo-to-sketch tutorial at http://www.ga2so.com/fakesketch.php and a “Snatchify” tutorial (http://dogwelder.com/snatch/).
Luke – thanks for the input – that first photo-to-sketch tutorial is really clever. I’ve never seen that particular technique before… and from MICROSOFT no less ???
