This logo is being designed for a company called Diesel Specs, owned by a friend of mine, which will specialize in selling engine spec sheets in digital format for diesel engines used in the agricultural industry such as Caterpillar & Cummins.
i love the logo. simple and to the point while reflecting of the feel of the busines name. the diesel in the name give the feel of structural or mechanical, the logo really exemplifies that feel. the only modification i would strongly suggest is to make the lines bolder and remove the greyscale lines. when shrinking the logo for print use, the lines will disappear and become hard to use, thus changing the overall structure of the logo. you really want something thats going to be simple, attractive but also something that you can reproduce easily.
Great design, very appealing. I think it could benefit from some shading or colors to emphasize the “DS” portion as it is easily lost among the darker lines and features of the image.
I like the concept and design, however, I would suggest crosshatching in the DS so as to make it stand out more, but keep the feeling of a technical drawing.
Sweet, keep up the good work!!!!
GO NAVY!
